This program is one of the best ways to fully take advantage of your trip by exploring both the main ruin site and Machu Picchu Mountain, the southern peak that the site is named after. This 2 day tour allows you to explore every part of the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu at your leisure without losing any time in Aguas Calientes. Our experienced guides take you to the less-traveled sites around Aguas Calientes (the nearest town to Machu Picchu) and Machu Picchu, the Wonder of the World. We take care of all the details, including your accommodations, train tickets and transfers.
Briefing and Andean blessing with Qeros Shaman the day before the tour to Machu Picchu, walking to the botanical garden and the Mandor Waterfalls near Aguas Calientes, the special Andean coca leaf ceremony at the beginning of the guided tour, guided tour of Machu Picchu citadel with a knowledgeable guide, the challenge of climbing Machu Picchu Mountain and viewing the ruins from its sacred summit, having ample time for your visit to the Machu Picchu ruins.
**Please note that the times may vary. The time that you will be picked up from your hotel is dependent of the number of people travelling that day, and train schedules are always subject to change, as they are determined by Peru Rail/Inca Rail and are based on availability of spaces, the exact times of your trains will be given to you, once you reserve the service.
